Our Programs

Empowering Youth to Rise

Every program we run is built around one belief: that every young person deserves the tools, mentors, and community to become who they are meant to be.

What We Do

Four pillars. One mission.

The A.D.E.R.I.Y.E Project Foundation runs four interconnected programs, each targeting a critical gap in the journey of Black and racialized youth in Canada.

From academic support to creative expression, physical wellness to one-on-one mentorship, our programs meet young people where they are and walk with them toward where they want to go.

A

Academic Success

Opening doors to academic and economic opportunity

We provide tutoring, homework support, university application guidance, and career pathway coaching. We partner with schools and employers to create clear, supported routes from the classroom to meaningful careers for Black and racialized youth.

Ages 11–25Weekly sessions, in-person and virtual

78% of participants improved grades or secured employment within 3 months

P

Physical Wellness

Strong bodies, strong minds, strong communities

Our Physical Wellness program uses sport, movement, and health education to build confidence, discipline, and community. We believe physical wellbeing is inseparable from mental and emotional health, and we design programming that nurtures all three.

Ages 10–22Weekly sessions and seasonal sport leagues

Over 120 youth engaged in structured physical wellness programming

Y

Youth Mentorship

Connecting youth with leaders who look like them

We match young people with mentors who share their backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations. Through one-on-one relationships, group circles, and speaker series, we ensure no young person has to navigate their future alone.

Ages 13–24Monthly group sessions and 1:1 mentorship matching

Over 150 mentor-mentee matches made since founding

E

Arts & Creative Expression

Finding voice through creativity and culture

Our Arts program gives young people space to tell their stories through music, visual art, spoken word, and performance. We believe creativity is a form of advocacy, and we invest in the artistic voices of the next generation.

Ages 11–21Bi-weekly workshops and annual showcase

Annual cohort of 60 youth across visual art, music, and spoken word
